Escrow vs. Letter of Credit
If you’re unfamiliar with the difference: escrow is a neutral third party that holds your payment until you confirm the stone arrived as expected, then releases funds to us — faster to set up, well suited to smaller or first orders. A Letter of Credit is a bank-issued guarantee, more common for larger or repeat trade orders, with your bank releasing payment once shipment documents are verified. Neither is “better” – they suit different order sizes and levels of familiarity between buyer and supplier.

Certificate & Quality Assurance
Every stone ships with its original IGI certificate matching the stated specifications.
Certificate Mismatch
If a stone does not match its certificate upon arrival, notify us within 48–72 hours with photo/video documentation. Once verified, OCS Diamond will provide either a replacement or refund, with return shipping covered by us.
Transit Damage
All parcels are insured during transit. Any transit damage must be reported within 24–48 hours of delivery with an unboxing video.
Returns
Returns are considered when a parcel does not comply with the agreed written specification or arrives damaged. Final return terms are confirmed for each order before shipment. General buyer’s-remorse returns on loose stones are not offered.
First-Time Sample Orders
First-time buyers can request a sample order from 1 carat, either as a fixed or mixed-size parcel, using advance payment or escrow. Sample orders are genuine purchases and are not offered as free trials.
Packaging Options
Every order ships in your choice of luxury box or standard packet packaging. We offer both certified and non-certified/loose stone options, depending on your requirement.
